Hi! I'm Eric Behna, Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) located in Washington, DC. I hold a Master's Degree in Social Work from Howard University.

It takes courage to seek support and I would be honored to join you on your journey towards change and becoming the person you want to be. My professional experience has taken me from working in antipoverty advocacy to working with people experiencing homelessness to working with vulnerable seniors.

I am a very calm and even-keeled individual who is non-judgmental and an excellent listener. I operate from a strength-based approach and believe that self-acceptance and a healthy relationship with oneself is critical to healthy relationships and interactions with others. I have a passion for working with LGBTQ+ individuals and providing LGBTQ+ affirming therapy. I also enjoy working with older adults and navigating issues such as social isolation, grief, loss, and depression that often go overlooked in this population.

In my free time l like to read, cycle around DC, and go on long walks with my rescue pitbull, Princess.
